Could be one to keep an eye on, particularly in Europe with more space to attack...
I haven't! How did he play?
Hmm, "work rate" or "intelligence", alarm bells go in my head
I get you, but frustration isn't "disrespecting the badge". That Olympic Gold doesn't happen without Rodman, & Spain score more than 2 here, as well. Rodman ran herself into the ground, she's probably shorter now than she was before the game. The attitude conversation is a non-starter
Body language is incredibly subjective and open to all kinds of unconscious biases. Easy to make mistakes but to question Rodman's attitude was totally below the belt. Sorry, correction: to question Olympic Gold Medal Winner Rodman's attitude was totally below the belt.
Answering your question, yes. Focusing on this game, did you see the performance she put in? At one point she was marking a Spain runner on the US penalty spot! She put in a *brilliant* defensive effort and deserves credit for that, not criticism because she was tired, or not what...smiling?
Thank you for the question! My take on it is here, towards the end of the piece
Thanks for the question Sylvs š my thoughts are towards the end in the Questions section

Going to write something on my analysis of USWNT Spain 2. If anyone on here has questions or thoughts you'd like me to answer or consider, let me know āš
I love the NWSL and will watch the Crest Cup but until the salary cap thing is sorted, the HIP thing is set on fire, owners generally up their game, players like Girma/Coffey start flowing back in this direction, or at least their European equivalents, things like this just feel like window dressing
Given recent crossover competitions and events I can already smell a USL team winning this, and days later Berman announces the NWSL is expanding to 86 teams, 64 making the playoffs, further expansion to follow
Point being not that she had them peaking randomly for the end of the season, but Hayes was able to obtain a level of consistency throughout and yes, sometimes have Chelsea powering through the closing months while others had their injury crises or some other fatigue
"You're never going to have your best players available" Hayes at Chelsea was renowned for managing her squad over a campaign. They won 34 of 38 WSL games between March-May in her final five full seasons, 104 of 114 points Reasons to believe she'll get USWNT peaking for World Cup, not before
USWNT š„ OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS (š„) (Possibly could've) WON THE EUROS (if eligible) š„* NOW (drew with the) WORLD CUP WINNERS And they say the rest of the world is catching up lol
Howell doing a pretty good Lena Oberdorf impression so far
This is exciting I don't care how bad the defensive tactics were for the first 65 minutes
