We had a very productive Educators Roundtable this past weekend. It was a good discussion with former and current educators and community leaders from around the district about the challenges facing our schools and educators. Thank you to everyone who came out and participated!

We had a fantastic group at our Greendale Town Hall this week! Thank you to everyone who came out and asked questions, and to the Greendale Community Church for opening up their beautiful space. With every event we hold, it is becoming clearer and clearer that people are ready for change.

Great news folks: a new poll shows us tied in the race for Wisconsin’s First District. Despite Republicans already spending over $4 million in this race in an attempt to prop up Steil, we are gaining ground. This is just further proof that Wisconsin can’t be bought.

As G20 ministers head to Milwaukee this week, we need to remember that trade policy should prioritize American Workers. I’m proud to support the Fair Trade for Working Families Resolution, supported by labor and environmental organizations and dozens of members of Congress.

Happy National Public Lands Day, National Hunting, and Fishing Day! I have always been a steward of our public lands. I am an avid hunter, angler, and staunch conservationist. Right now, our public lands are under attack, and we need to be diligent in protecting them.

Happy Daughter’s Day! I want to especially say how thankful I am for my amazing daughters. Being a dad is the best job I will ever have. Throughout this campaign, the long days, nights, and sacrifices, my family gives me a reason to keep going.

Great news, folks: Cook Political Report just shifted our district from Likely R to Lean R. This is a testament to the power of organizing and working class people coming together to push back against a corrupt Congressman and administration.

Last night I attended the bipartisan Rock County Agricultural Candidate Forum in Janesville. Agriculture is a core part of our district’s culture and economy and I was glad to be there to talk with folks about what is needed from both a state and federal level to support our farmers.
