I'm recapping VisionQuest for Episodic Medium! Come read my thoughts on a premiere that gets off to an impressively jampacked start

How could I forget!

If you wanna do some rewatching before VisionQuest premieres tomorrow, I would recommend: 1.) The WandaVision finale 2.) Age of Ultron 3.) Episodes 6 and 8 of Agatha All Along (for context about the logistics of the Thomas of it all)

The good of The Social Reckoning: It made me think about the 2020s as an actual decade of history, not just a nebulous present. The bad: Jeremy Allen White can't do screwball comedy. Here's my review!

No one works harder than me dodging Dancing with the Stars spoilers until I can watch the next day. Genuinely shocking elimination!

Thank you!! I’m already planning a full series rewatch as my end-of-year treat

Spiritually, these two shows are cousins

Loved, loved, loved the themes and character work of Lanterns, even if I’m not entirely sure I could describe the plot if you asked me to.

I wanted to watch a thriller to kick off October, so I finally decided to catch up on All Her Fault!

Same! It's so delightful

Admittedly, I do like Digger a little more if I imagine it's making fun of One Battle After Another winning Best Picture.

And by WanadaVision, I mean VisionQuest. Wonder how many times I’ll make that mistake while reviewing it!

I’m rewatching Agatha All Along ahead of WandaVision and what a show! We didn’t appreciate it enough while it was airing.

Digger and Primetime are both movies where I’m like “aren’t you actively doing the thing you’re righteously critiquing other people for doing??” And with a release schedule specifically aimed at winning awards for doing it? Does that not undercut the point?

I didn’t have a bad time watching Verity, exactly, but I left it thinking, “That’s it??” Wish it had been less safe and more gonzo.

Unfortunately, I’m more of an Elinor so I just suffered in silence.

They should make a movie about the hubris of a millionaire cult leader trying to win an Oscar by starring in a satire about how evil, rich white men are ruining the world…

Rolled my ankle coming out of my Sense and Sensibility press screening and THAT’S a 4DX experience.
