But his story didn't end there. Defying the odds, Boris competed in the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawaii, proving that the Israeli spirit is unbreakable. Boris, we salute you! Your strength, courage, and determination are an inspiration to us all! 🇮🇱❤️

This is Israeli resilience. 🇮🇱 Boris Shtonda was critically injured during the war against Hamas terrorists in Gaza. He lost his leg above the knee and endured 19 surgeries. He spent nine days sedated and on a ventilator.

Today marks 145 years since famed journalist and lexicographer Eliezer Ben-Yehuda began reviving the ancient Hebrew language. In the words of well-known Israeli diplomat and language scholar, Abba Eban: "Without the efforts of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, Israel would not exist."

We will never forget what they endured. We will never forget those murdered on October 7 and those who never made it home from captivity in Gaza alive. And we will never forgive the horrors of October 7, 2023.

On this day, October 13, 2025, the last living hostages kidnapped by Hamas into Gaza on October 7, 2023, finally returned home to the arms of their loved ones.

🚨 BREAKING: One person has been killed and multiple others injured after an unexploded munition detonated near the Lebanese border in northern Israel. Those affected were teachers and students on a trip in the area. May the his memory forever be a blessing. 🕯️

26 years later, Israelis still face horrific violence from Palestinian terrorists and a Palestinian leadership who glorifies such incidents and names public schools and streets after convicted murderers.

Soon after, the crowd dragged the two mutilated bodies to Al-Manara Square in the city center as the crowd began an impromptu victory celebration. Palestinian policemen did not prevent the lynching.

The crowd clapped and cheered as one of the soldier's bodies was then thrown out the window and stamped and beaten by the frenzied crowd. One of the bodies was set on fire.

At this point, a Palestinian (later identified as Aziz Salha), appeared at the window, displaying his blood-soaked hands to the crowd, which erupted into cheers.

What occurred after was one of the most horrific and violent incidents in the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The soldiers were beaten, stabbed, had their eyes gouged out, and were disemboweled.

26 years ago, two IDF soldiers, Vadim Nurzhitz and Yossi Avrahami, mistakenly passed an Israeli checkpoint and entered Ramallah. They were detained by Palestinian police only to have the police station overrun by an angry mob of Palestinians.

Israeli judoka Raz Hershko represented Israel with pride at the Baku World Senior Championships 2026, bringing home the bronze medal in the +78 kg category! 🇮🇱🥉 Mazel tov, Raz! We are so proud of you!
