Netflix is laying off 1,000 workers — its largest layoff ever. In 2025, Netflix had a net income of $11 billion (up 26%). Its CEO was paid $53M (255x more than the median employee). And it just raised prices for the second time in just over a year. Corporate greed in a nutshell.

This is disgusting, but not unexpected. The Trump administration is putting their thumb on the scales for Putin, despite the fact that it’s Russia violating the energy ceasefire.

Trump’s ex-chief of staff John Kelly said this to me, six years ago: “I don't know how he’s not in an institution somewhere, whether it’s jail or a nuthouse. He’s a seriously sick guy. I never heard him saying anything that wasn’t a lie.” Trump has only gotten worse since.

We’ve been talking about this for years. None of these far-right movements are organic.
