As both a certified CAR GUY and an economist-ish, I cannot imagine a headline more designed to drive me, personally, insane. This "flying car" technology is neither new nor novel. It is not practical and would not sell. Let me tell a story of actually useful car tech that never made it to market.

There's a Politico (lol) piece entirely about how Republicans' hope right now is that the polls are all way off and they only get a MILD wipeout and first of all it's full of a bunch of nonsense but the best part is how it ends on this incredible bit:

A raise doesn't mean much if your rent, groceries, and insurance keep getting more expensive. Working Americans deserve more than numbers that look good on paper. We need wages that actually buy a better life. Economic growth should be measured by how ordinary families are doing, too.

It must have been an incredibly challenging feat for you to serve as the head of the test pilot academy while also being a member of the flight test team. I imagine you had to overcome countless hardships to complete that test-flying mission. I have the utmost admiration for you.

In China, newly built aircraft undergo rigorous testing by specialized test pilots before entering PLA service. It’s a dangerous job that pushes aircraft to their limits, and many brave pilots have lost their lives in the process.

I have a friend who works at the Chengdu Aircraft Manufacturing Plant. The J-20 was produced there. He shared this news with me back then, and I could sense a deep sense of pride in his words. I imagine you two must have plenty to talk about.

Difficult pregnancies, infertility, unexpected life changes, and medical complications can be emotionally overwhelming. People deserve support and accurate information when facing these situations. We can hold personal convictions while still choosing compassion over humiliation.
