The stereotypes thing I get, but I found those characters to be more annoying than anything else. I was 15 when it came out and actually missed it. Finally saw it in theaters 2yrs ago for its 25th anniversary.

I give it credit for the practical effects and shooting on film, but it’s a pretty boring movie overall. I feel bad for Jake Lloyd and Ahmed Best, best Anakin and Jar Jar are the worst things about that movie, hands down.

Verney mocks Abi for daring to try and share her interests with him, and so she decides to teach him a lesson

Panel 1: Abi Normal enters the bedroom of her brother, Verney Normal. In his bedroom is a shelf with a rugby ball, a model F1 car and a toy skull inside a plastic see-through "Toxic waste" container. Verney looks annoyed as Abi reads a book and says "It says here that skulls are useful for sorcerers who want to connect with spirits of the dead!"

Panel 2: Verney mocks Abi, widening his eyes and saying "Ooh, look at me! My name's Abi and I love telling useless facts to people who didn't ask!". Abi looks irritated.

Panel 3: Verney points at Abi and says "Guess what? Nobody cares!" Abi looks quite cross.

Panel 4: Abi is back in her own room, sitting at a table and looking at a skull attached to a pentacle. She says "Sorry, Verney, but you made the wrong choice and forced my hand."

Panel 5: Verney has entered the room, revealing that the skull is not Verney's actual skull, but instead the toy skull from panel 1 (the plastic container can be seen on the table). Abi looks annoyed as Verney says "Daaaaad! Abi's playing with my stuff!"

Friz Freeling was one of the founders for sure, and kept things going probably longer than he should have, and Tex Avery and Bob Clampet set the tone for the studio, but it was Jones that really led WB animation and gave them their voice. He maybe been grump, but look what they did to his creations.

Space Jam was so awful, Animaniacs even poked fun at how much it sucked… By combining it with another WB embarrassment, Quest For Camelot! You know it’s bad your own IP’s are calling you out for it! WB has a great animation legacy for sure, but flat and simple, Chuck Jones is Looney Tunes.
