It will be, it was closing at midnight on the day of the post. Thanks for trying!
There’s only a few hours to go to vote in the British Photography Awards and if you are so inclined you can even vote for mine! 😁
Well done Jonny, lovely photo. Geoff, maybe you should repost with the #sharemondays2026 hashtag so it can be found when Dylan is trying to do the book?
I’m quite amazed there aren’t more Aurora photos for #sharemondays2026 but it’s all I have this week. Revisited an old location after the best of the display had passed. Interesting to see how much it has changed in ten years.
Cheers Geoff 👍
Thanks Rob 👍@rkphotographic.bsky.social
That’s very true!
Ah thank you!
Ah, well there’s a back story to the setting. If you find my post in insta you’ll see!
Cheers Alan. Didn’t hang about to see what happened later, but that bit was quite nice.
I saw that. Impressed you attempted it with film, even more amazed you got anything at all with that exposure but that’s not a bad result considering!
Thanks Rohena

Thanks. I’ve taken over 500 abstract boat photos now so I’m getting quite good at spotting interesting things fairly quickly! If a marina has dozens of yachts you just don’t have time otherwise.
A yacht owner came up to me and asked what I was photographing. “A sunset” I replied. He looked at me quizzically, then I showed him the back of my camera.
😂 thanks. I guess when your lens is a few inches from the side of a mucky boat the question is a bit more legitimate. Or maybe it should have been “why?”

Thanks very much Soniya!
Ah thanks Paula
Thanks! So do I!
