Great visit to Shirley Meadows in Devens this week. 58 affordable homes where seniors can live with dignity and community. The residents told me what matters most: lower costs, good care, and benefits that keep up with real life. I'm on it. Thanks to 2LifeCommunities for having me!

This world class facility will transform inpatient and outpatient care to meet for children in Massachusetts and across the country.

@trahan.house.govOct 9, 2026, 8:09 PM

It will expand rehabilitation and behavioral health care for kids who need a place to go: our youngest children, kids with autism, and kids with complex medical and behavioral needs.

Too many Massachusetts families make call after call when their child is struggling and hear the same answer: there's no program for your kid. Yesterday, I joined Boston Children's and Franciscan Children's to break ground on their new family building in Brighton.

I’m proud of the work we did to secure $2.5 million in federal funding to help staff this center, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to see what that investment looks like up close today!

Now they're nearly doubling the space to add more rooms, a new youth day treatment program, and shorten waits for families.

Since it opened, Community Health Connections' Children's Behavioral Health Center in Fitchburg has served 1,403 young patients during 25,815 visits.

Across Middlesex, Essex and Worcester Counties, some families are paying hundreds more each year than they were a decade ago. No matter where you turn, another bill is going up. How much more are families supposed to take?

@trahan.house.govOct 8, 2026, 8:07 PM

Groceries. Gas. Healthcare. Heating. Now? Add water to the list. Americans are paying 62% more for household water than they were a decade ago.

It was great to join CEPA for their annual conference to discuss AI safety. Rep. Nathaniel Moran, @beyer.house.gov and I agree that AI safety isn't a partisan issue. On the contrary, it is an opportunity to come together and deliver protections for every American in every community.

Thank you to @massgovernor.bsky.social, @massltgovernor.bsky.social, Chancellor Chen, Dr. Wohletz, and everyone who helped get us to this patch of dirt on Dutton Street. I'll keep fighting for the federal resources to help this project grow.

The Mill City is making things again.

It also brings more than 150 highly skilled jobs to Lowell. And because Draper chose to build right next to UMass Lowell, students can train for those jobs while attending school.

@trahan.house.govOct 7, 2026, 5:19 PM

Draper's new IMPACT Center will design, produce, and package the advanced microchips that guide our satellites, protect our servicemembers, and keep our critical infrastructure running. For too long, too much of that work happened overseas. This building brings it home.

@trahan.house.govOct 7, 2026, 5:19 PM

Lowell taught America how to make things. Yesterday, we broke ground on the next chapter.

When someone breaks the law and hurts you, you can take them to court. That shouldn't change just because the wrongdoer is an AI agent. Developers have already built systems capable of acting on their own and causing real damage. The CLAIM Act will ensure they answer for what their systems do.

That’s why @warren.senate.gov and I are calling on Energy Secretary Chris Wright to take immediate action to address the impact of rapidly rising heating oil prices on our constituents.

Massachusetts families can’t afford to pay the price for another failed Trump policy this winter.

@trahan.house.govOct 6, 2026, 8:19 PM

Thanks to Donald Trump’s war with Iran, the price of heating oil is around 60 percent higher than before the war began.

@trahan.house.govOct 6, 2026, 5:41 PM

We will hold this administration accountable for ALL of their crimes.

@trahan.house.govOct 6, 2026, 5:41 PM

If you’ve watched TV in the past couple days, you’ve probably seen those disturbing Trump ads and wondered “what the hell?” He’s illegally spending $20 MILLION in taxpayer money to advertise his own failed policies right before an election.

@trahan.house.govOct 6, 2026, 3:16 PM

When Donald Trump refused to sign the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, we got it done anyway. But that was the first step, not the last. Now we have to build on it with more homes, lower prices, and a real shot for every family that's earned it.
