@timothykeeneyphotography.com@timothykeeneyphotography.comWhen I visited this spot last time, I decided against trying to go to the base because it seemed too dangerous. I almost gave up this time, but then found a rope to descend the canyon wall.
@timothykeeneyphotography.comThere's actually a taller, plunge type waterfall above it but from the base it's just out of view. Lots of composition options here, but some of them require being in precarious positions.

@timothykeeneyphotography.comWith yesterday's clouds and calm winds, of course I was out shooting waterfalls. It seems like we're still a couple weeks from peak foliage in Connecticut, but there were pockets of color here and there.

@timothykeeneyphotography.comI've photographed Háifoss several times, so during my most recent visit to the area, I decided to focus on Granni instead. The recent rains had things flowing well and the low clouds added a softening element to the scene.

@timothykeeneyphotography.comThe waterfall that I affectionately call Skógafoss Junior looking great on a cloudy September day. At 65 feet tall, it's only about 1/3 the height of the real Skógafoss, but with lots fewer visitors.

@timothykeeneyphotography.comThe valley of Botnsá near the Glymur waterfall seemed to be the epicenter of autumn color in Iceland with birch trees putting on quite the show. Glymur is the main attraction here, but this scene ended up being one of my favorites.
