What bothers me so much more than him thinking he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize is that I would not be surprised if they gave it to him. So many placate him. So many are bought by him. He has made corruption, greed, and weakness at all levels so transparent. It’s astounding. It’s infuriating.

To be precise, he says: “To my beautiful friends and family that have been in opposition of Trump since day one, I want to apologize to you. I say sorry to you because I’ve been too kind, I’ve been too lenient.” So they are right in saying that it took this event to make him change.

He also said he apologies to those who were anti-Trump, which implies that he supported him to some extent previously. I have the same take as you.

They know that because they watched the video. It’s what the person in video said, that it’s now come to their backyard, and they apologise to the people that were anti Trump, and their support of him ends now.

I thought surely the American people will not elect him a second time. I can still feel that disappointment. I am hopeful but I have heard it before. “He’s unpopular. He’s losing support.” What I will give his supporters is that they care enough to vote.

That is something that I feel very strongly about. In many cases/places, they won’t allow it for people with terminal conditions, living with pain and in distress, who desperately want to die. It’s heartbreaking.

I must admit, I only started paying attention when he was elected, because I couldn’t understand it and had to try. I experienced the elation of the following election and the soul-crushing disappointment of the last. I am now cautiously optimistic. I cannot stand him and his kind. It has to end.
