History just nervously smokes in the corner

Increasing conversations about sleep in the professional sectors. As with sugar, lack of sleep underlies an overwhelming number of conditions--nagging and sometimes life-threatening.

This killing and destruction is incongruent with promises by a deity. Even acceptance as valid the claim of a land promised by God, surely this was not the way He would deliver on said promise.

I’m realizing politics is patience. Not the good kind either--not waiting for lawmakers to make studied decisions and such. Rather it is the citizenry waiting for politicians to finish their gala events, red carpet, 25 week vacations, touring the networks with porcelain veneers shining.

And as our local councils argued over budget priorities, the communities slipped a bit further into cynicism and discouragement. Maybe, as has been said, changes will have to be initiated on local levels. Hold these local councils accountable.

General Summary of Political Landscape: By midweek, Congress had issued statements that canceled each other out. Also: None of our leaders are curious about troop deaths in the war Israel invited us to. Nope, not Democrats either.

Allow me to self-indulge with a summary of my week thus far: Monday reminded me the country runs on caffeine and denial. I contributed both. Though denial is hard to maintain if you have any awareness of current events.
