Yet again there are deliberately deceptive constitutional amendment questions on the Wisconsin ballot designed to confuse you into voting against your position. The League of Women Voters has a helpful explainer. Please make sure your circle knows what’s up! my.lwv.org/wisconsin/co...

I know German well enough to be functional, though reading organ music is usually all I use it for. When I’m audio engineering, it seems like it could be useful. Also, no one in my circle knows it, so I could be the inclusivity bridge, especially in my church music director role.
I have switched from working on my German to learning an entirely new language: American Sign Language!

I’m sad to see Apple depart from their AI being on-device only, it was a real selling point. But it did lag the other models in perceived “smartness,” which is why I assume they’ve changed. Personally, I’m probably not upgrading until 27.1 is out.

I still can’t promote In-Person Absentee Voting (IPAV) strongly enough. In general, you can show up at your city hall any time they’re open for the two weeks before the election and you can fill out your ballot and it will be right there to be processed as an absentee ballot on Election Day.
Because I haven’t seen this posted widely enough: votesafe.org is not a safe, independent registration website. Elon is behind it and they admit to collecting and seeking your data: www.snopes.com/fact-check/v...
May her memory be a blessing. 🫶🏻

In Wisconsin, I highly recommend In-Person Absentee Voting (IPAV). Check for your local particulars, but in general you can show up any time the city clerk’s office is open for 2 weeks before the election and vote. It is then processed as an absentee ballot on Election Day, no mail required.
