Let me know if you're in the above regions/ are the above authors and would like me to DM you a sign up form!
Definitely.
Indeed. I suspect I'll keep Africa, South and Central America and the Asia-Pacific regions open to more authors for a while.
I'm hoping to find more authors to add to the sparser regions of the world in the post too.
You're welcome Bianca!
π Hopefully I'm not finished yet, either. I'd like to add more authors from the Southern Hemisphere-ish specifically.
That's pretty much where I'm at, but it seems less people are there than I thought.
That wasn't even an option in Australia till 2018. Mind you, our best import option was Book Depository, which Amazon purchased then closed. Luckily we still have Booktopia online, and plenty of brick and mortar stores.
I suppose an advantage of Itch is the way I download files means I end up with them on both my computer and my Kobo π€
That's fair. I returned to study just for this year, and that's likely why I've not done any free reading on my Kobo -all my Uni reading is on screen π

Question for Readers: do you still purchase paperback books? When & why? I mostly buy ebooks, and sometimes borrow paperbacks from libraries. With paperback sales being far easier to set up & manage on my direct author store, I'm tempted not to set up (distribute to) order via online bookstores. ππ
I agree with you on the latter.

The former I've heard before, but yeah the latter is interesting.
I prefer paperbacks too, but with 2 full bookshelves and no room in this house for a third, ebooks allow me to keep buying books π
I still have an account with them from before D2D started offering print. So I had a go at setting up a book (having taken my ADHD meds), made notes on each accessibility issue I hit and promptly came here to see if I can get away with direct as my only online option ππ€. Cheers!
Ouch! I'm finding my Kobo easier for travel reading, which I hope to do in a couple of weeks.
Absolutely!
