I just got off the phone with my dad, who said that what folks were told for a while now is that Dolly was making sure that trusts & such are set up to care for all the good she put into motion.

Dr. Emily Friedman@ecfriedman.com

Dolly’s impact has so many facets, but here’s one important to me: My parents devote their time to hands-on work for family charities. Dad has been deeply involved in bringing Dolly’s Imagination Library to as much of Houston as possible. So many kids now have books at home, just for them.

It's been 84 year— no, sorry, 10, it's been 10 years since I started streaming and in true fashion I'm starting late after getting off work. But stream is up and I'm gonna play some games, darn it! Come hang out, come celebrate, come lurk, or don't come at all, I'm not your mom! 💖 😜

good news: paid off this month's rent! bad news: i still have $1,000 from the previous two months as well as a backlog of payments for utilities totaling $1,641(!) so i'm setting up a dono goal at this point. target $ set to 3K so i still have some bucks to spare ko-fi.com/mikadotdll/g...

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

They were my grandma's fave bird, so every time i see one, i'm reminded of her. They're so tall too! I'm like never prepared for their size when i see them more up close Catbirds are so cute! One of my other faves (besides hummingbirds) are red wing blackbirds. They're so common here but so pretty
