@vengeancegod.bsky.socialI love you
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialTo be clear, this wasn't like, "finish the story then cry." I was actively sob-reading through at least three issues.
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialI'm reading @jason-aaron.bsky.social run on Thor for the first time, and I just came to the end of Jane Foster's time as Thor. I haven't sobbed that hard reading a comic since I read the Death of Superman in elementary school. The single most stuck landing I've read in a long time.
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialI was looking at anime swords to buy today - because come on, it's me - and I really wish wildly silly swords were not so impractical to wield. Realistic, practical swords can be beautiful, but there's so much character and story you can put into a weapon that never actually has to exist.

@vengeancegod.bsky.socialIn two and a half hours or so, I join Pocket Dragon Pub as we take #daggerheart somewhere I've never seen it go - the Salsa floor! I'm playing token white guy, El Assassino Del Salsa. It's gonna be amazing, and we're raising money for Columbian earthquake relief, so come join!
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialI am deeply impressed by Kyle Chandler's ability to make Hal Jordan the biggest asshole you've ever met, and also deeply, deeply likeable.
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialNo, thank YOU

@vengeancegod.bsky.socialSo if you know your idea is good, but you're personally struggling, the society we live in will cast that as a personal failure. It's NOT. Ask. For. Help. People love you and will help.
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialThis is something I gotta keep telling myself every day. - people love you and want to support you and help your ideas. Ask. It's hard, but ask.
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialWhich sounds like sour grapes, but I'm not saying this to complain "IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME" but to say - every one reading this has creative, brilliant ideas, and you never know when you're ALREADY in the right place at the right time.
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialWould it have become Dimension 20 or something? Probably not! But we might have hit like an, Avantris level and be celebrating our $110 Million Dollar Kickstarter right now. :D
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialAnd I want to put this out there - that could've been me and a bunch of my friends. We had the idea of filming and editing a D&D show right in that same sweet spot. And we filmed it. Aaaaaand I had undiagnosed ADHD and never edited it.
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialSo I'm watching this incredible YouTube documentary about D&D/TTRPGs by Answer in Progress - I'll post it in the comments, watch it, it's brilliant - but in it, Liam O'Brien and Griffin McElroy talk about how wildly lucky they were to have accidentally stumbled into Actual Play when they did. 🧵

THE ONE OFF REVIVAL WAS PERFECT. JUST DO THAT AGAIN, SEVENTY TO FIVE HUNDRED MORE TIMES. THE LIST OF CELEBRITY GUESTS THAT WILL AGREE TO APPEAR IS "EVERYONE."
(Can't quote post @briancgrubb.bsky.social , sorry to screenshot, go follow the funny person who is as mad as I)
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialOooooh
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialThat's actually much cheaper than I expected! :D
@vengeancegod.bsky.socialThanks for reaching out. We're working on getting this fixed and will have new codes for Winter soon.
