DF: "All three yellows not deserved. There was no consistency in these decisions and when you ask them for explanations, they don't have one, they are just annoyed and they give even the manager a yellow card sometimes." #lufc

Farke asked fourth official why yellows were not being shown for fouls on Calvert-Lewin. Was told it was because they were deep in Leeds half. Then Tanaka and Ampadu get yellows deep in Arsenal half. Farke asked why and had to leave his area to do so. Then he saw he got a yellow. #lufc

DF: "Confidence in the performance taken forward from this. One day on the training pitch to prepare. Have to earn the right to build momentum in the next games. Lots of positives to take, but lots of work to do." #lufc

DF: "We tried to change it to a 4-4-2 with more offensive players on the pitch. Wanted to take more risks. It has helped in past games, but not today, sadly." #lufc

DF: "Out of very little, they found the equaliser. Can't complain too much with our behaviour. Perhaps we were over-shifted too much and did not spot the run quick enough. On a good day, James puts it over the bar, maybe." #lufc

DF: "It's difficult to describe the emotions. Congratulations to Arsenal. It's down to their mentality. Heartbroken and gutted for my players. Good away performance with no points is tough. Very proud. First half good level, did not allow any chances. We looked more dangerous." #lufc

MA: "We knew it was going ot be really tough. We had to face the challenge. They fully deserve their position. We had a point to prove. Didn't capitalise on the early overloads we had. Energy changes with the equaliser." #lufc

A lot to like, but gaps in resources began to show in the final 30 minutes. Briefing with @amylawrence.bsky.social on today's game. #lufc

FT: 2-1. Game got away from Leeds in the final 30 minutes, but prior to that they thoroughly deserved their lead. Competed, battled and bettered the champions for periods. Big battle and good step forward from last season. #lufc

Bogle and Elvedi off for Bahoya and Bijol. #lufc

Bahoya and Bijol are getting ready to come on. #lufc

Some confusion as Leeds try to bring Nmecha on. Looks like the original plan was to take Gudmundsson off, but they switch to Justin as he picks up a yellow for stopping an Arsenal counter. More like a 4-4-2 now. #lufc

Leeds being pulled and stretched too much now. Arsenal work it quickly, pull the defence, Guimaraes gets a free run at it. Drives it into the bottom corner. Changes from Farke: Tanaka and Okafor off for Wilson and Aaronson. #lufc

Calafiori levels it. Madueke crosses it to White at the back post. Nodded back inside and Calafiori arrives, unmarked, to steer it past Trafford. #lufc

Leeds lead and deservedly so. Lovely goal. Okafor puts Gudmundsson in down the left. Arsenal so slow to react. Low cross evades everyone in the area and there was Justin arriving unmarked at the back post. Rifled home. #lufc

JUSTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN! #lufc

Great effort from Tanaka. Fizzing strike needs a tip-over from Raya. Ampadu created it with a strong challenge on the edge of the home area. #lufc

HT: 0-0. Really, really good from Leeds away at the champions. Had the better chances and hung in well when Arsenal have pinned them back. Evident frustration with the referee. Seem to have calmed themselves after a few heated minutes. #lufc

Good Leeds move. Calvert-Lewin drops in, feeds Okafor to break, who has the awareness to cross for Justin wide right. Cross eventually comes in with Gudmundsson arriving late. Shoots from tight and close angle. Raya gets enough on it to parry away. #lufc

Farke booked for protests to fourth official. Then goes back in for another go, after the yellow. Ed Wootten, GK coach, tries to get between them and Farke shoves him out the way. Few minutes of head-loss across those three yellows for Leeds. They're in this game, but can't afford to overheat. #lufc
