@fredkatz.bsky.socialKnicks just sent a release recognizing they made a mistake on their ticket pricing this week and "will restart sales with new prices shortly." Anyone who already purchased tickets will be refunded the difference. "Our intention was never to overcharge our loyal fans."
@fredkatz.bsky.socialThe NBA has informed teams of its updated salary cap projections for the 2027-28 season, league sources tell @theathletic.com.

@fredkatz.bsky.socialFive of the best value acquisitions of the NBA offseason: www.nytimes.com/athletic/742...
@fredkatz.bsky.socialThe final 2 years of Landry Shamet's 4-year deal with Knicks are partially guaranteed, league source tells @TheAthletic. In Year 3, $1.6M of his $6.2M salary is guaranteed. In Year 4, $1.7M of his $6.6M salary is GTD. He has a player option in Year 4, as Ian Begley reported.
@fredkatz.bsky.socialMohamed Diawara's four-year, $11.2 million contract with the Knicks is guaranteed only for the first two seasons, league source tells @TheAthletic. Starts at $2.6 million salary in 2026-27.
@fredkatz.bsky.socialThe Deandre Ayton trade further proves one of the least credited rules in the NBA: That every Lakers big man eventually has to play for the Wizards and vice versa. Ayton, AD, Dwight, Markieff Morris, Wagner, JaVale, Thomas Bryant — the cycle will never end.
