Standing stones, stone circles, dolmens, plus well preserved Iron Age hill forts many of which later became Roman villages. Plus a mixed species Neanderthal/CroMagnon child's remains were found in a cave there. And there's more.

@clonehenge.bsky.socialIn Makomanai Takino Cemetery the outskirts of Sapporo. One of the best and certainly of the 3 Stonehenges in Japan (that we know of) most resembles the original.
Bonus: there's a giant Buddha and row of Easter Island moai 🗿 nearby!
