We have a bit of a special announcement... A few months ago, one of the finest wetlands in the Lake District came up for sale - It is a SSSI (site of special scientific interest). We have officially completed the purchase of the site! We are so excited, and grateful for the opportunity! 🎉🥳🎉

Oh. My. Word. WE HAVE DONE IT! 🥳🎉 In 2020 we worked with Natural England to carry out a green hay transfer from Sandybeck Meadow SSSI & SAC onto the Loweswater meadows, with an ultimate target being to get Greater Butterfly Orchid established. Today, was the day I found the first one!!
