They are so beautiful! I never grow tired of seeing them!!! 😻😻

Adult life is like "Having friends and hobbies prevents you from getting lonely, experiencing health problems, and developing dementia," and then adult life does absolutely everything it can to prevent you from having friends and hobbies.

Figuring out why Ossoff is so effective is an interesting task. I think he's mastering a kind of stern dignity that is uniquely compelling in contrast to the clownish cruelty of the other side. I think the other person who's kind of hit on the same thing is AOC, though in a different register

New review - An epic fantasy standalone, an exploration of grief in a world where Gods need their stories to be told, how to intertwine narratives and break the fourth wall.

Pleased to report I have been acquired! 4 more Sova novels set 150 years after The Great Silence to end the entire 10 book Empire of the Wolf sequence (a standalone and a final trilogy).

Did you know you only need a small brain to make silly little drawings?

Voters everywhere: get your vote in EARLY. Deliver mail-in ballots by hand if you can; don't trust the post office to deliver them in time. Don't assume the line at your polling place will be short come Election Day. GOP strategy right now is "prevent people from voting;" don't get caught by it.

It's slow here, but conversations are happening!

My hot take is that the extreme solipsism pervading game commentary on the internet stems from a lengthy tradition in video game journalism in which you catered to a teenager audience that was very solipsistic. The hatred-driven algorithms of Meta/TW have only compounded this.

While I remain slightly more optimistic than you, I fear your diagnosis is spot on 😅. The 'two minutes of hate' have become so internalised, that they're now the 'default' way to engage things by many on the internet :(

Y tristemente demasiado joven en mi opinión :(
