Mary had fixed her inflatable Brahms to the piano. Eleanor pulled the toggle to inflate her Greig, though it was only half the size she’d expected. “The toggle or the Grieg?” thought Mary idly. #GirlsOwnCc

The ancient historian reincarnated as a penguin. An apt and erudite apterydite.
Mrs P and I have run away to the Alps for a rest.
Thank you!
Good news! One of the cabin crew noticed it seemed a bit quiet on board. So they let us on in the end.
The good news is that my flight is ready to leave. They’ve closed the doors, disconnected the ground connections, connected the tug and got ready to push back. All the passengers are watching this from the jet bridge, wondering we’ll be allowed to board before takeoff.
Half a goblin, obviously.
Yoda: marijuana? Yoda’s girlfriend: oh my god yes! we’re gonna have such an amazing wedding— Yoda: *long drag* fucked up I have
Priest: Do you take this woman to be your wife? Yoda: Do I. Priest: Do you? Yoda: Do I. Priest: … Yoda: … Bride: (sigh) You do you. Yoda: … Etc

Perhaps we all gravitate to Bluesky… I am also mildly face blind. I once tried to pick up the wrong child from school, which was embarrassing. Uniforms shouldn’t be allowed.
Can we have the traditional “Jesus saves” goalkeeper joke please?
Perhaps they’ve been on an alpha particle course.
The Bluesky meet-up “Dress as your favourite Girls’ Own illustration” was a great success. The fact that few of the attendees had usable hands had pros as well as cons. #GirlsOwnCc
Estne Avis? Estne machina? Minime! Est superfrater!
Hammering it into an open goal like Jude Bellingham against a team of 12-year-olds.
Thank you!
This is what the upper classes call tennis. Wimbleball.
And schools in the early 1980s had vending machines. And there was plenty of pre decimal coinage lying around at home in those days.
Any teacher with more than 2 brain cells wouldn’t announce “…because you can use an old halfpenny to get a free drink”, would they?
The buffet culture clash works both ways. In a Uk hotel breakfast buffet I saw a chap (whom I think was Japanese) eating a fried egg with strawberry jam.
