Witherod Lake trail in Long Lake provincial park. That particular stretch is unusual in having a stand of tall spruce, looks like PPP.
Some ppl must actually Iike mowing?
My ideal! It's just practical. Sometimes the book is too good to put down, and the cat needs to go for a walk, right?
But in a well-maintained park path? The best.
I probably would not do it on a city street now. I might get a well-deserved ticket for reckless walking!

Ottawa's ChΓ’teau Laurier, built in 1912 for the Grand Trunk Railway, #OughtToBeHaunted. A prime candidate is Charles Melville Hays, President of the GTR, who went down with the Titanic en route to the hotel's grand opening in 1912. Some say that although he arrived late, he never left.

The Uniacke house in Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia, was built for Richard John Uniacke β lawyer, politician, abolitionist, and proto-champion of confederation. RJW lived here and, in 1830, he died here. But many will tell you he never left.
The American Historical Association @historians.org has announced its book prize winners and I STRONGLY recommend the following to you:

The name-driven viral marketing for this new cafe is very funny. I know TWO non-Canadian visitors who heard about it before coming and automatically put it on their must-visit list. π
The longer I live with this diagnosis, the more amazed I am!
Almost 3 years out from being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, I'm living Life By Science. A CDK4/6 inhibitor and an aromatase inhibitor, specifically. Thanks, meds! Was thinking while reading this a.m., ran some intervals this afternoon, looking forward to dinner with a friend. All good!
