Re: Trump's diesel deal with Putin Conversion factor is 7.5 barrels of diesel per metric ton. Daily global diesel consumption is around 25 million bpd. So, the initial 300,000 tons, or 2.2 million barrels, would meet global demand for about two hours.

Nicholas Winton helped 669 Jewish children escape the Nazis and his efforts went unrecognised for 50 years. Then, in 1988, while sitting as a member of a TV audience, he suddenly found himself surrounded by the kids he had rescued, who were now adults.

Not the usual fare for the Financial Post. I make the case why I think we *are* in a productivity crisis, one that has been predicted for over 40 years; but not for the reasons we thought. And the fix won't come from where we thought either.

Foreign interference in Alberta's referendum is a serious matter impacting our sovereignty and should be debated in Canada's House of Commons. Why then is the Liberal Speaker not interested in this debate?

If I do say so myself, the deck I've prepped for this, tomorrow, is awesome. Much fun, and informative.
Very stoked about presenting it.

(FT) - A sharp sell-off in US government bonds is starting to reverberate across corporate America, forcing companies to overhaul their borrowing plans and even raising the spectre of defaults among the most lowly rated businesses.
