The same could be said of Australia where we treat civil participation and disobedience with a 'one and done' expection. Democracy is a participation sport that takes practice, repetition and it is a long game.

So, let’s take the Coalition’s concern for taxpayers seriously. If public money going to the wrong places keeps them up at night, I have a list of ways to let them sleep better.Since July 2022, we’ve forgone $77.8 billion & counting by not having a 25% tax on gas exports, end fossil fuel subsidies.

And I hope this is a picture of the two of them feeling it in their bones, particularly how eternally damning it is to let themselves be corporate captured by fossil interests

I made the grand statement at 14 why i would not have kids, environmental decline, climate etc were top of the list. I'm well into my 40s now and have only deepened my resolve it was the right choice.
