Do we learn this lesson everytime I play a fighting game or deadlock? Yes! Am I going to keep being surprised when I learn it? Also yes :3

What this proves to me, at least, is that shooting for specific goals during a competitive game will make you much happier than seeking out the win, soo much is out of your control.

Deadlock is weird because I'll have one or two games where I'll play the best I've ever played and feel really proud of myself and just completely lose the game OR I play really miserably and I feel terrible about how much I contributed but still win.
