As we have communicated. We did the update on Septemebr 17th.
Now a question back to you @wdonthavetime.selfhosted.social
Who have funded you and what is your connection to other PDS operators?
What is your motive to create a site framing public information as a "data-leak" what's your motive?
It is not strange at all. We where among the first users to signed up. As communicated ๐
This is not a leak. It is public information all our users have given consent when they verified

birthDateApprox stores a generated date: 1 January of the birth year, shifted randomly within a 24-month range. The day and month have no connection to your birthday, and even the year may differ. We use it to derive an age range, balancing privacy with context about who is behind the keyboard.
Public verification details are available to other AT Protocol communities, just like public posts and profiles. W is an open network: the context users agree to publish travels with their profile. Only your age range is public, never your birth year or exact date of birth.
Before launching Wโs beta in June, we surveyed our waitlist. Most respondents wanted either real names or anonymity with more context about whoโs behind the keyboard. That shaped our approach: optional real names, with a verified age range and nationality.

Verification is handled separately by W Identity on European infrastructure.
W Social never receives your passport, document number or photo, exact birthdate

4/5 Available first in the desktop app. Verified before September? Your details arenโt displayed yet. Support for earlier accounts is on the way.
3/5 Keep your real name private and still be a verified human. W Social receives your real name only if you choose to share it, and your birth year and nationality, never your exact birthdate. Your profile only shows an age range. All users agree to what is shared publicly during verification.
2/5 Click the ID icon on a profile to see: โข Verified name, if the person chose to share it โข Age range โข Nationality used for verification You chose what to share during verification. The upgraded badge now displays those details.
1/5 Weโve upgraded Wโs verified badge to give you more context about the person behind the keyboard. Real humans. More trust. Your real name stays optional.

What I said on stage at Stockholm Climate Leadership Forum today. Speak up for climate or democracy and the script is the same. First they try to silence you. Then to discredit you. Any platform that challenges the attention machine gets the same treatment. We saw it at W from day one.
