@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialI wish finding really specific jobs was a job, I would be so good at it.
For example, if you're a book-loving locksmith based in Washington DC: The Library of Congress wants to hire you!

@jesslynnrose.bsky.social4 am is a fun and exciting time to be awake. Really gives you the time and space to contemplate which of the many sins and misdeeds of your past you're being punished for with your predawn wake up time.
@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialI love how cursed units of measurements are in the UK. Weight is gonna be kg or lbs but there's no real way to predict which. Unless you're weighing people, which are measured in stone. A stone is a normal and reasonable unit that roughly corresponds to the weight of a large housecat (14lbs/6.3kg)
@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialEverything is stressful and terrible and weird and too much, so here's a sloth selfie from London Zoo's own Mary-Ellen
@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialDiscovered the Malone Society (folks studying 16th + 17th c drama texts) sells t-shirts to raise money that might be extremely relevant to some of y'all's incredibly specific special interests
@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialI need a phrase book that covers a whole bunch of different languages. I need to be able to ask “may I pet your dog?” and also cute, culturally appropriate compliments to say to the dog while petting them.
@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialThis is so pure!!
@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialCannot wait to see what new old(er) person hobbies I pick up next. I hope I get really into birdwatching. Those folks seem really intense in cute, fun ways.
@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialThe Google Maps AI reviews summary for my pottery studio mentions the "friendly studio cat". No review includes these words. What the reviews actually say is that the studio is a friendly place and that there is a cat. This cat is is only motivated by violence and loves biting.

@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialQuick question: Do you think someone could get a cat into the chest pocket, kangaroo pocket or one in each? They’re roughly 5kg cats. Normal cat size.
@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialDon’t talk to me until I’ve had my morning
@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialTIL that David Lynch founded a nonprofit to increase access to transcendental meditation!
@jesslynnrose.bsky.socialThe whole plotline works well for Blink, aside from the idea that he could do anything with subtlety! This was so cute and nice to read, thank you!!
