i said i liked it. i didn’t say it was good. post yours!
It's what I call the area in LoLT where the active junk geysers are.
Happy Birthday, fellow Libra.
Geo once explored the caverns beneath the Finding Fields hoping to find a way out of the LoLT. He entered with others but exited alone.
It’s a work relationship, but I’m a sucker for a Sam/Diane will-they-won’t-they dynamic.
Because my podcast is ending, I've launched a new personal Patreon for all my subsequent creative efforts. It's very much focused on Thrilling Tales of Old Video Games at the moment, but it's going to be the hub for all future projects. If you like my stuff, please support me.
Thank you! (I've rewatched it many times, too - one upside to it only being 9 minutes long.)
The idea of him viewing his path to escape as different video game levels was fun.
5) As soon as I turned in the third short, I ordered the LEGO Shire set just to get Old Man Kai hair. (Which you can now get through Pick-a-Brick.)
3) In the second short, I was very careful not to utter the words "The" or "Great", but I figured if I lived in Ninjago and saw another giant rampaging snake, I'd absolutely call it a Devourer. 4) I gave a few options for the "bystander" escaping the city. One was Mord. No, I'm not joking.
I'm sorry I cannot answer your bigger questions, but maybe you'd like some inconsequential fun-facts: 1) Cole's beard was in the script. It was very important. 2) Did I pitch a teenage Fritz fighting alongside him with a bandolier of alchemical grenades? Yes.
Probably not 🫤
DUSKFALL is out. Three shorts, three flavors of action, three glimpses of NINJAGO's future, and a celebration of its 15-year legacy. Probably not what you were expecting, but I hope you have fun.
Do not leave your fate to old men peering at stones. (I don't know. Probably?)
Landstalker and Shining Force defined fantasy style for teenage Glen.
I can only speak to Lloyd, but yes, I would say his connection to Elemental Powers is influenced/aided by his personal connections with the OG Ninja. I’m not going to codify any special connection to the Elements of Creation, though it’s certainly possible.
Do you say "Mah-rio"? "Merry-o"? "May-rio"?
(There are my PERSONAL takeaways and not any indication about how things can/will turn out in the future, and, by all means, continue shipping whomever makes you happiest. 🦊)
And sometimes a missed opportunity is a reminder that life will always give us an excuse to put off happiness - but we have to try anyway. And maybe/hopefully you realize that the life you have is the life you chose.
Maybe someone who grows up with trauma and burden deserves a partner who will make them a priority even when they can't always do the same. To finally have someone in their life who asks nothing from them beyond what they can give.
