I maintain that voting should be compulsory like it is in Australia. They have at least a 90% voter turnout rate. Voting is mandatory in over 2 dozen countries, including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Egypt, Thailand, Singapore, Turkey, Uruguay, & Chile. Penalties vary by country
