On my way to Droidcon Berlin! Who'll be there?
"Started from that directory, so nothing of this repository is in what the session is told, and the prompt beside you is the whole of it." Is there a name for Claude's nonsensical style of writing? Not just "LLM speak" but that very weird phrasing style.
Came here to link these articles! For the first time we have a tangible way to measure the cost of tech debt. Tech debt costs us actual tokens!
It's 2026 and Android Studio stills loads projects with the "Android" view that hides your actual project structure and doesn't display the location of the files you open. Still treating Android devs like babies who shouldn't see a file that the Android team didn't think was important
Meta's "Muse" launched with a nasty zero day flaw that gave hackers the ability to spy on Mac users, openly gives root access to people pretending to be Muse agents, and invited strangers over to another guy's house without telling him
Don't sell yourself short, it rounds up to 34% 😉 Nicely done!
Do you think you could have a word with the entirety of French white collar leadership?
Is there something memetic leading to wanting to do fancy rice krispies? Yesterday I asked gemini for exactly that! It suggested rice krispies demi spheres with caramel hearts inside, covered with a chocolate glaze.
Yep! IIRC a jack has a power diff between mic & ground, enough to charge capacitors. The reader reads the magnetic stripe, encrypts it with a unique key, then sends that to phone as audio input as a target frequency.. slowing down as the capacitors lose charge
Ever seen the inside of a Square credit card magstripe reader?
Abject what now?!
Watching Mando & Grogu, and I'm sorry but Grogu's animation is shit. I get that it's intentional, but the result just doesn't feel great to me
One interesting idea there as well is how this could be used for LLM based support to help you make changes in an app, without having to rebuild a whole first class dedicated MCP (plus maybe it's cool seeing the tool show you how it's doing things)
If you can just turn your addictions into a paying job you will never rest a day in your life
One obvious piece missing with the ring is closing the loop, i.e. an agent answering / asking a clarification. Playing audio on phone / headphones is an obvious one.
But just for the fun of it I want to buy this and have the agent send text to it www.vestaboard.com/note
At this point it's a really fucking magical experience to be biking back home and just saying "open up the gate" a bit ahead without stopping or having to pick up the phone while riding
That release is amazing! First, the UI breaking down what happens on clicks is a lot clearer. + I love that webhook only => latency 📉 Getting good results with gemini-3.7-flash, especially with the past N turns as input to the voice transcription context.
smallest* Though I don't particularly care about the shape of this, I just want to have a webhook that fires as soon as the audio is available, and to throw that into my own transcribe + agent loop
