i am also not going to make a habit of engaging too much with people who use “ai hater” bc while there may be “haters“ many people cannot (or refuse to) accept that there’s a difference between hate and criticism and use it to pretend you’re the underdog and it makes my skin crawl lol

i don’t think i’ve updated my views on ai actually, i’ve updated my appetite for talking about it by moving my thoughts to long form. if anything my thoughts on it are headed more towards negative than positive. i studied ai in grad school 20 years ago so “give it a chance” is a moot point
