I talked before about Misericords, small wooden seats on the Choir (where the clergy sits during mass) of a medieval church (so the monks could lean and rest their legs). Well, check out these examples, commissioned in 1492 for the Saint-Lucien-de-Beauvais Abbey, featuring pigs playing the organ!

In this first piece - you get a stunning view of my sona hogging the entire bed (Except for the VERY small corner reserved for my IRL fur-baby Mocha). I love the way he included the morning rays of sun and having to look away with those first few blinks of waking. Definitely a hot summer day.
