been really into chiikawa lately...

For fucks sake I was raised on Ace Attorney & Professor Layton but bc of the recent developments of Capcom & Level 5 using GenAI, I will never touch a new game that comes from their hands. It breaks my fucking heart to pieces but I will give it up to support the arts & artists. FUCK GENERATIVE AI!

Like it sucks not being able to play Aniimo, I was super excited for the game & was deeply disappointed that I had to stop playing it but I did bc I love my artist friends & would never support generative AI in any shape or form. There is ALWAYS an alternative & any excuse you make is a poor one.

The moment I was informed about Aniimo, I did my own research & didn't touch the game while more damning information was shown. I swiftly then deleted & hid the game in my steam library so I would never have to see it again I found a different monster collector games to play like Cassette Beasts!

It's also not hard to inform yourself or just stop playing when you are told about it. Do your own research ofc but still playing it after you know that it has AI generated art, story, voice lines, assets, etc... it doesn't sit well with me at all.

It sucks seeing vtubers you look up to playing games with GenAI in them, especially after they've been informed about it. How can you say you're a supporter of artists when you support the same machine that takes their work, creativity, & livelihood from them. Incredibly disappointed in a few ppl.

Oh also yes, I did wear my FMA watch necklace to work today to rep that I'm a weeb 🫡

Had a successful first training day at work today! Tho while I was eating lunch I noticed the fork I was using looked kinda familiar so I turned it around... Mom swears she didn't steal it this time but that it was Dad 😂
