"No one loves this shit like we do."
In an age where it seems like money is everything, it’s refreshing to have Cleveland and Tampa in the ALCS demonstrating that quality can’t just be bought
yes
i bet lane and sark both lost on purpose just to take attention away from nick saban right after the premiere of his documentary. (kirby said he was gonna as well but then bailed.)
you just need to give Lane Kiffin some time to catch up to the more established coaches that he's losing to, like Will Stein and Pete Golding
gotta see what cody soles has got
This was two years ago. And yet the senator who runs on Fox to condemn every Democrat who doesn’t unconditionally support Netanyahu has nothing to say right now.
DID HE, PAUL?
Some inner city schools do well. Some don't. Some rural schools do well. Others don't. Money - and this we learned the hard way - cannot really influence outcomes. Culture, environment, parents - they matter more. I feel like I'm talking to people who missed the last 60 years of US history :) /4x
What you don't realize is how much of that was tried, and failed. There's a reason a lot of the Great Society programs were junked: They didn't work. "We'll just make every town like Chevy Chase!" is a great, and stupidly impractical, idea. /3
"If only we spent more on social welfare, schools would be better!" Well, maybe, as long as the kids aren't living in a dysfunctional culture with bad parents. What most of you seem unable to grasp is that you're wishcasting that all places become like a nice suburb full of good parents. /2
I have to dial back the sarcasm, because people aren't getting it. Yes, better housing, nutritious food, nicer streets, low crime - all of these will help grades! But many of you are basically unreconstructed 70s liberals who *just don't get it* that you can't make that magically happen. /1
OH MY GOD STOP IT WITH THE CUTE SHIT ON 4TH DOWN NO ONE HAS FALLEN FOR THAT IN TWENTY SEVEN GODDAMN YEARS
Four tight ends, be still my heart.
You see Mr. Anderson, we are simply too powerful @sanctumvr.bsky.social
why did Alabama go for it when they could tie the game at 10 going into half, well, it started hundreds of years ago when explorer Hudson DeBoer plucked a cursed emerald from the head of a temple idol
"Aurora Borealis? At this time of year! At this time of day! In this part of the country! Localized entirely within your kitchen?!?"
