Hot take but [remembers that it's bad to shit on people who are just having fun] [remember that I'm allowed to speak my mind] [remembers that I hate arguing online] you know what who cares

You see it is funny because Visser Three is much less compelling and fuckable than Visser One. It would make the cover more fitting though.

Ruin a book by adding a word: Visser Three

new anbernic thing is killing me. everyone was so excited for Remember the 3DS? It's Back, in Unlicensed Android Device Form because the use case of these devices is to download pokemon games and not play them, and then they swapped the c-stick for a dedicated AI button. if you laugh you go to hell

I also can't get over how fucking shitty this poster looks. I get why they need to rely on not-that-good CGI for the movie, but why does the *poster* look like a video game?

*hole

"put the block in the whole that it fits in as fast as you can" is the kind of thing you'd do in a WarioWare microgame (I know this is an extreme oversimplification of the metagame) A lot of Dread bosses are mostly quickly defeated by like, two shinesparks, which makes it feel like a minigame.

Verbal Components seem underbaked. It exists so that a spell that requires neither a free hand nor a spellcasting focus can still have a component at all. If it's paired with either Material or Somatic, it may as well not exist. I have been playing DnD for three years and never come across Silence.

If 9/11 happened today, they would say those communist New Yorkers had it coming because of woke.

I thought I'd like Jean Grey more. I just don't think the editing did her any favors. We never get a chance to really linger on her emotions. I heard that this movie was more grounded and I thought that might mean the editing would be better. It was not.

Many Metroid Dread bosses are like Mario Party minigames. Tetris is many WarioWare microgames played in a row.

Lanterns is much better.

Spider-Man Brand New Day is pretty good. One of the first MCU movies to have a decent ending.

okay what happened here

We're NPCs. We're bug people. We are infected with the woke mind virus.

Man named Hitler Mussolini elected mayor in Peru

The dehumanization has already begun.

I actually think I like YOUNG ABERRANTS as much as PSYCHOPHILIA. There's more world building, more important themes, and better character dynamics. I'm excited to be working on it.

Someday I want to be better so I can finish the novel. I love the characters and their story, and I want to share their story. In the meantime, I've started work on a somewhat lighter story called YOUNG ABERRANTS, a dystopian sci-fi novel about psychic children in a government-run conversion camp.

I've been advised to abandon PSYCHOPHILIA by my therapist, wife, psychiatrist, girlfriend, and inner monologue, because ruminating on such intense violence is bad for me. This has made me very sad, because I quite like PSYCHOPHILIA and have invested a lot of effort into completing the first draft.
