If a character has horns, I am plagued by the thought 'HOW DO THEY SLEEP?'

I'm not even a cosplayer but I have cosplay brain turned on. Every outfit needs to be something that is realistically wearable. And it bugs me because if the character has wings or a tail I have to pause and think about how that piece of clothing is worn 😭

My biggest issue with any of my designs is I CANNOT LET GO OF THE IDEA THAT THEY NEED TO MAKE SENSE As in if I add a skirt: how is the character wearing the skirt? How do the layers work? How is this piece of fabric clinging onto the body? MY BRAIN WON'T LET ME DESIGN FREELY
