πŸ”Ή She Follows Rivers πŸ”Ή Mixed media on paper on panel, 22” x 11”

To spend one's life in connection with the land is to become an extension of it, a part of it's whole. She follows rivers, and so the river is echoed in the shape of her being.

Prints available: sasharjones.com/store/she-fo...

A painting longer than it is wide features a light blue background: distant mountains and a winding river that curls and weaves towards the forehead of a coyote at the base. The river almost resembles smoke at its meeting with the coyote portrait. The coyote has a knowing expression and flowing red and gold fur shapes blending into its environment, radiating outward with light and flowing in shapes resembling the river.
