Chisholm is often infuriating, but I will die on the hill that he'd be a good addition.

Ernie Clement's rough 2026 season shows that using him as an everyday 2B isn't a great Plan A for the Blue Jays.

I looked at the kind of options Toronto could explore at the position this offseason.

50 seasons of Toronto Blue Jays baseball are in the books. It's been magical, and awful, and frustrating, and, a lot of the time, just fine. Hopefully, we don't have to wait too long for season 51.

In what's likely the last batting inning of the Blue Jays season Charles McAdoo produces the hardest-hit ball of his short MLB career (108.7 mph) - and it travels 446 feet.

Colossal boos for John Schneider as he comes out to get Max Scherzer and Mad Max sends him right back to the dugout. A classic Scherzer moment in an outstanding finale.

@nickashbourne.bsky.socialSep 27, 2026, 9:01 PM

Max Scherzer pitching into the 7th and going over 100 pitches on short rest in this game is an unbelievable outcome.

That's Brandon Valenzuela's first home run since July 17. A positive for him to end an excellent rookie season on. He struggled offensively down the stretch, but it was an impressive first year for the talented catcher with a big arm, top-notch framing skills, and some solid pop.

With today's Blue Jays pregame show wrapped, that's it for this guy on @sportsnet590thefan.bsky.social this season. Always enjoy my time doing pregame shows and Jays Talk with @snsalli.bsky.social and hope you good folks got something out of our conversations or "jabbering" as Sho would say.

Dylan Cease's velocity has been slipping for a while now, but it's only seemed to affect his performance recently.

I looked at how closely his effectiveness is tied to the way he lights up the radar gun: www.sportsnet.ca/mlb/article/...

The AL mid-off continues with a huge trip to Texas.

Can Cease hold it together? Will Vlad show up? Should Schneider use his bench more? Are we ready to talk Clement?

This week @nickashbourne.bsky.social and I discuss it all, plus the rotation, Santander, and a whole lot more!

Braydon Fisher only throws his curve to right-handed hitters 19% of the time, and Pete Alonso clearly wasn't expecting to see much of it. Fisher locked him up with the hook twice in that critical AB to get the strikeout looking.

@nickashbourne.bsky.socialSep 13, 2026, 7:15 PM

In an absolutely critical ballgame, the middle of the order has delivered back-to-back-to-back home runs. Totally uncharacteristic of the 2026 Blue Jays, but exactly what this club needed.

@nickashbourne.bsky.socialSep 13, 2026, 6:31 PM

Vladdy just missed a home run by a couple of feet right in Brett Bateman's signature HR spot.

@nickashbourne.bsky.socialSep 12, 2026, 9:01 PM

A huge stylistic difference between the Blue Jays' two bulk pitchers today. Spencer Miles filled the zone with hard stuff, while Arrighetti threw too many uncompetitive curves, but stayed away from the middle of the plate.
