Also had the opportunity to check out NEVER AFTER DARK. Check out my review now over on Horror Movie Blog horrormovieblog.com/never-after-...
Itās been a busy month over here. I popped out a baby, spent extra days in the hospital recovering from postpartum eclampsia that an ER doc dismissed of course, and got back to working on content and reviews. So if Iām slow responding, Iām knee deep in the trenches yāall.
Festival season continues! Weāre covering Toronto After Dark! Looking forward to seeing what comes out of this event!
Two other shows the October season is delivering and worth checking out besides āCarrieā and āCrystal Lakeā: Netflixās eco-horror series āBelowā and āYagaā on AMC+, a supernatural witchy procedural (10/23).
Canāt believe itās been a year since watching MÄrama. I still think about this one. Revisit my review over on @horrormovieblog.bsky.social: horrormovieblog.com/marama-reven...
Absolutely. Haunt has no business being as good as it is.
Side note: Iām seeing a ton of white creators post Black horror lists for Octoberā way more than last year and years previously. Iām starting to wonder if itās for the clicks/views because thereās nothing Blackity Black any other month on their feed but February. š
Iām hoping new to the genre horror authors consume more horror before writing it. Hereās my review of Our Sisterās Keeper inlovewithhorror.com/blogs/news/o...
Here are some of my go to cozy horror movies. Itās a cloudy day and a perfect time to cozy up on the couch.
I could definitely watch this one again
Already enjoying the films coming out of @imaginefff.bsky.social. My first review is up on Horror Movie Blog now for THE CYCLE.

Our @mikeandserialx.bsky.social took a look inside Mr. Creamjeans' Hidey Hole and lived to write about it.

Organizations to support: @theokraproject.bsky.social Black Trans Advocacy Coalition Lavender Rights Project TGI Justice Project
Trans rights, are more than just a headline for me. Especially when it comes to Black trans women. Everything my sister is, Iām beyond proud to stand up for. Black trans women make up 78% of all trans women murdered in the U.S. and over half of those happen in the South. See replies for orgs.
Wrote this 2 years ago. Do you see a difference in how Black women are showing up/being portrayed in horror? Examples?
