Sweet spot (IMHO) for Surface Laptop Ultra is the RTX Spark with the 6144 Core GPU and 64GB shared RAM. Workload plus models. ~€5000 in Germany. Ugh! — but the RTX5090 alone is now >€1000 more expensive as a standalone graphics card with half the VRAM.

I suggested to my daughter (Architecture student) to watch the Surface Laptop Ultra event because this will likely be an awesome machine for 3D stuff and AI. She is actually having a watch party with friends. Now I am getting a stream of snark because it’s too geeky.
