Two things I need to share which I think are VERY Bluesky. So, a thread:
Question for @letterboxd.social / when I click the ‘+’ button to add a film I’ve looked up, this page pops up, with possibly the smallest image of the film. Why is it so small‽
Oh yes!
That is SUCH a niche reference that I immediately got! Could you sketch out a little technical drawing for me please, with measurements in mm, and I'll have a tinker.
4. YES THERE'S MORE. I'm being filmed tomorrow re my running recovery after surgery. I'm taking suggestions for funny things I can see if I can get in shot. If I own it, I'll try it.
3. Tricked you! There's more! Booked to see Digger. Any original film which isn't about BLOODY SUPERHEROES I'm up for. Plus, the critics slated it, the audiences are loving it, and I want to have an opinion.
2. Just got the halfway point of 'Mare of Easttown' and gang, this series is AMAZING. So tightly interwoven, such world building. So much said and unsaid. SEEK. IT. OUT.
1. I discovered today that Costco sell a four TIER cake of cheese for £72. Ordered it.

Right so all I'd need to do would be to extend the lip of one side of the Canopouch. What pouches you they use?
100%. Where does he wear that extender on his seal (in relation to a clock face)?
“Everyone Welcome”
What a lovely thing to say and read!
My partner thinks this just how I process things - immerse, share, advocate.
Just wish I could come up with a #PouchTo5k for my mental rehab
Yes I wear those at night to stop it sounding less like a crisp packet rustling under the duvet!
Interesting! I will investigate! Now I’m in a routine, I’m less fussed about changing them, and luckily, my skin doesn’t react to the seals.
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. The thing with a stoma is that it’s essentially a pipe end, unlike a rectum, which has a control mechanism! If your pipe has output, it just goes, which can make for a risky shower! You do get used to the habits of your body though.
I use Coloplast one piece. Sampled and loved the minis, which are the size of a CD disk. Super comfortable, non intrusive and perfect for running.
If the pouch is empty, I’ll leave it on for the shower. I found the seal opening a little, so have been doing the flannel moustache trick, but also don’t mind a bagless shower, so long as Sven is inactive. Had a few lively ones! Tested it, worked well!
Imagine the order: skin, seal, pouch. This slips between seal and pouch, clipping loosely around it, and pushing against the seal edge (which would otherwise get wet in the shower and start de-adhering). The water now falls and is diverted off and away, rather than wetting the seal!
I designed and made this today, to make showering less challenging. The sheer pleasure of chewing over a problem, experimenting, problem solving. Creativity is so wildly undervalued.
