Thinking about doing a 9 day game jam but the collaborators are in 3 time zones that don't overlap during working hours. Do you have any ideas or experience about how to pull this off? (boosts very welcome also!)
Hi Sarah!
Last week, I finished a class at the Irish Writers Centre called “Writing for Video Games”. I got a lot of out it and I’m sorta sad I won’t have another class this week!
(Thank you @alphachar.bsky.social for being a great teacher!)
At 2am on May 30th 1985, three men, Sean, Patsy and Tommy set out in a boat off the coast of Donegal, Ireland to see what they might find in the water.
@june.bash.pizza I really enjoyed your short story!
In case you missed it, I published a little story about a couple of friends meeting at a café to catch up and talk about very normal things.
Another game jam completed! This time its a retro Tempest-like shooter. If you can make it far enough, there are some unique innovations, such as a bowling level and a butt level.
Woah! Congrats on launching this!

Nice!
Supercool! Is this in godot?
Another #godotwildjam entry from me! Takes about 10 mins start to finish, let me know if you try it ❤️
When I’ve been in that frame of mind, following video tutorials got me through. Some time when you’ve got a fresh brain/morning to spend, it’s better to pick a particular goal and figure out how to achieve it.
Thank you! I just watched a few of your crochet stitch videos, they’re very cool looking!
🧶 Beat Knit - A rhythm game where you knit to the beat. Made for Comfy Jam: Spring. It's free!
I sketched a bunch of craft stalls, picked my favourite, then loosely put some colour under the sketch. I got hooked on the idea of the two big swirls drawing the viewer in, so I made the rest of the image by fitting things to those swooshes.
