yeah but its pretty wild a $4tn companies launch of their flagship device includes a typo,, how many eyes must a deck like that pass through for approval! like mistakes obviously happen even at the highest level, but i think our standards are just trending downward

@hayleigh.devOct 7, 2026, 9:20 PM

whether or not ai is (in)directly to blame for this blunder, i'm becoming increasingly bullish on the idea that simply putting some care and consideration into the things you share is going to be such a differentiator as everyone lowers their standards in order to do more

@hayleigh.devOct 7, 2026, 6:12 PM

lustre could be so good 😭

@hayleigh.devOct 7, 2026, 2:46 PM

if you ahve built something (either an app or a library!) with lustre i'd love if you could fill out one of the issue templates here:

github.com/lustre-labs/...

it'd be great to start building a collection to showcase ^.^

@hayleigh.devOct 6, 2026, 10:05 PM

lustre is clearly the best way to author web components so it makes sense 😌

@hayleigh.devOct 6, 2026, 9:46 PM

jokes aside its genuinely incredible that even with only 20 repsonses, lustre is apparently notable enough to make it onto the results *at all*. im a little speechless!

@hayleigh.devOct 6, 2026, 9:38 PM

all im saying is only one entry there is 100% admired

a chart from the 2026 stack overflow developer survey. it shows how different web frameworks and technologies are rated by users on a "desired" to "admired" scale. lustre is the only option with a 100% admired rating.

what problem(s) do scoped custom element registries solve? purely just concerns with name collisions?

@hayleigh.devOct 5, 2026, 8:46 PM

the month has ended 👁️👄👁️

@hayleigh.devOct 5, 2026, 3:19 PM

this would go so hard, you know lustre would be making an appearance here

@hayleigh.devOct 2, 2026, 8:56 PM

besides gleam/lustre stuff i want to dedicate more of my time exploring canvas interfaces, i think theres so much more there than what most folks are putting together currently

@hayleigh.devSep 24, 2026, 8:51 AM

ah this is wicked! we were talking about how to nicely surface this information for @xyflow.com, in particular for us we were looking for ways to find out when popular packages/repos adopt our libraries

@hayleigh.devSep 23, 2026, 8:55 PM

brussels slander 😤

@hayleigh.devSep 23, 2026, 8:52 PM

it'd be cool to see *dependants* rather than dependencies, but that might be a bit tricky to calculate without spamming npm?

@hayleigh.devSep 23, 2026, 2:58 PM

i looked back at the past couple of years of events and its not really any different 😬

@hayleigh.devSep 23, 2026, 12:10 AM

super surprised to see the speaker lineup for svelte summit later this year is 100% men?! sometimes i forget what tech is like outside my bubbles 😅

@hayleigh.devSep 22, 2026, 5:13 PM

i heard we dont compile to erlang anymore

@hayleigh.devSep 21, 2026, 10:20 PM

yoo! i'm going to give this a read tomorrow, thank you for sharing.

@hayleigh.devSep 20, 2026, 3:01 PM

already got that one bookmarked 😎

@hayleigh.devSep 20, 2026, 6:14 AM

this is a banger. i feel like theres a lot to investigate with something like semantic zoom: does it affect learnability if the changes with zoom level? what impact is there over time as the amount of content stored grows? does that push users to naturally zoom out? do they forget their own content?
