@rmiriam.bsky.socialThe Flyers this season have zero ability to harness any momentum. Like even when they do something good it's a total reset and they forget how to do more of the same.
@rmiriam.bsky.socialThis game is going how a Flyers vs Canes game SHOULD go tbh. The Canes are throttling the Flyers with their killer defensive structure. The Flyers are doing JUST enough to keep the Canes at bay until they don't.

@rmiriam.bsky.socialThere is definitely an argument to be made that Bonk isn't ready for the NHL yet (which is FINE he's still developing!) but when you're a little behind the play you're going to take penalties even if they're somewhat questionable calls.

@rmiriam.bsky.socialIt's not even that they only have 5 SOG right now. It's that they only have 15 shot ATTEMPTS and that's because the Flyers seem to not care if the pucks stays mostly in their own defensive zone. No intentionality toward a transition game.
