Not a drought buster, but yesterday's rainfall was beneficial - with most of us receiving between 0.5 - 1". BNA is still 10.9" behind where we ought to be for the year.

Next weekend 👀. Before that, mist/drizzle should let up sometime between mid-morning and lunch, could be a buzzer beater if it's gone for the Titans game. Probably a dry week ahead, with temperatures well above average Monday - Thursday.

NWS Nashville has gone ahead and canceled our Wind Advisory. On/off light showers will continue over the next several hours, rain gear will be a good idea as you head out for any evening plans. Lingering showers will be possible Sunday morning thru lunch, but we’ll gradually start to dry out.

Most of the light showers are W of 65, but they'll continue to swing thru over the next couple hours. Not expecting much more meaningful rainfall. Winds are relaxing as well, although still breezy at times. / 4:30p

Most of the "heavier" showers are confined to N of I-40, but drizzle/mist continues to stick around for most. BNA recently had a gust of 33mph, and with temps in the low 60s, it almost feels chilly. / 1:30p

Showers will gradually become more scattered over the next several hours, likely becoming more "off" than "on" as we head into the afternoon. Winds will slowly continue to increase. You can check the radar anytime on our (new/revamped) website: buff.ly/6U9hNMJ / 11:50a

NWS Nashville has gone ahead and canceled our Flood Watch. Main focus will be the stronger winds that will arrive over the next couple of hours, with gusts up to 30-40mph thru the early evening hours. Tents and Halloween decorations, beware. / 11:10a

I think it's feasible to say that totals will be closer to 0.5" than 1.5" based on current trends. Starting to see some breaks in the rain work their way in. Still expecting winds to pick up over the next several hours, with gusts up to 30-40mph possible thru early evening. / 9:30a

Rain from the remnants of Isaias slowly arriving, steadily continuing thru ~lunch. Then, activity becomes more scattered in nature, slowly tapering off thru the rest of the day. Strong winds with gusts up to 30-40mph still possible from mid-morning thru around dinner. / 6:30a

Forecast remains on track. Widespread rain arrives around sunrise tomorrow morning, becoming more scattered in nature around lunch, continuing thru the evening, gradually tapering off. Wind gusts up to 30-40mph possible mid-morning thru dinnertime. Rainfall totals generally 0.5 - 1.5".

While we could go without the flood threat, we could certainly use the rain. Latest Drought Monitor shows Moderate to Severe Drought hanging on around the area. Upcoming rain won't completely take care of the drought, but it would be a great start.
