It's my birthday!!! If you would be willing to share my art to help me celebrate another year of being on the Earth, I'd appreciate it greatly!

I would also always beg the line cooks for “dead” food or pieces of cheese that weren’t good enough for the charcuterie boards lmao. In return I made them cute lattes and coffee drinks when we had time. (This was not a fiscally responsible restaurant to our benefit)

NOOOO im so sorry for you. When I worked in bigger restaurants or chains, most often we just got discounts. I worked several years at a smaller fairly nice place and our chefs went off on “family meal” which was a big group shift meal. It was always great and so helpful as a starving grad student 🙏🏻
