Today's MORK is up!

Makes me wonder how traffic on Reddit’s Alberta separation groups is doing today.
Neil, you gotta drop out, bro
One thing we can clearly see is that Trump is formally aligned with Putin. Whatever Putin has on Trump must be unimaginable.
Good morning Ottawa. Bonjour Ottawa.
“Zelenskyy could’ve stopped this war many times, and he chose not to … he better damn well stop” — Trump is no longer trying to conceal that he’s fully on Putin’s side
We need a hard reset on transit rather than the current game of inches and death by 1000 cuts we've had since 2015. We're just re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic due to foundational flaws in transit policy and hamstrung by P3 garbage and addiction to driving as primary transportation.
Another watermain break and sink hole. You can explore the age of our city's pipes using this interactive map.

The pipes in question appear to be from 1967, making them 59 years old. 1/
Today's MORK is up! Incredibly, it is not Riverside North closed due to a watermain break.
Public transit sucks so I’ve had to buy a car I can’t pay for and fill it with gas I can’t pay for and I might lose my job because I was late again getting to work due to another water main break that caused traffic chaos. But at least Mark Sutcliffe is keeping taxes low to make life more affordable
Brasilia is amazing, but also incredibly flawed (primarily because it is a car-centric design.)
If Sutcliffe is elected we're getting 4 more years of neoliberal austerity, failed transit (no longer failing, failed) and catering to developers to build more sprawl while everything else crumbles. He keeps talking about the future, but the city is barely able to get through the week.
Which begs the question: what value does he add to the process? If this funding was ripe for the picking why did he wait 4 years to even discuss the possibility?
Best case is he's spending a lot of money he doesn't have and either uploading vast chunks of municipal budget to province/feds, or expecting the same to suddenly shower Ottawa with largesse. If Sutcliffe actually wanted these things he's had 4 years to do them without a peep.
We live in the worst timeline.
I maintain that it’s DOGE’s primary goal was to exfiltrate government/citizen data and backdoor systems. Anything else was merely cover or a fringe benefit.
The best way to determine if the neighbour is using an ultrasonic device is to throw a brick at the house. Several bricks may be needed to determine the frequency accurately.
Deliberate obfuscation. It’s ~20-30M bbl if I recall which is a tiny fraction of global demand. The main thing is it provides Trump with a context to sanction Ukraine when they blow up Russian petroleum infrastructure while also helping Putin fund his war effort with previously sanctioned oil.
How is he raising $10B with below inflation 2-2.5% property tax increases (which is a de facto service cut budget)
