One of (if not the) favourite Bohrok shields. Unfortunately, it's the only krana colour I'm missing. I like how the paint turned into the "sphere/disk" of water which it used in the MNOLG style animations. That means the krana which Pahrak's gonna pick can only be KRANA VU! 😱

The original Toa had big heads, foot and hands (the ones which do have hands — pieces which were first released with Throwbots/Slizers). They aren't that big, but had some proportions which were off.

Considering that in interviews the designers said sets were planned eighteen months ahead, they were already working with HF at time, at best they had "scrapped" B-plans for BIONICLE. If I had to guess, I think the Barrera are product of artistic freedom, despite being faithful to set-form aesthetic

"All our Sins Remembered" (about the core war/the shattering), at least the back of a Skrall unit seems to be based on it. I think they gave freedom for the comic artists, but I wouldn't doubt they got prototypes/unused concepts as visual reference to adapt their work...

Awesome art! But I don't think they'd become sets, when their form was released in the story, Bionicle was about to end. If they're based on some unused prototype or they were made like this just for the comic, it's our speculation. But I see some Hero Factory pieces on the other comic...

The Empire of Skrall side story was one of my favourite Bionicle comics, and it released just about the time we all knew Bionicle was about to end. I still consider making a Skrall comic myself, but it'll take some years...

Hard to decide. I'd be fine with six. It's interesting that I got the blue Krana Xa as well. Probably that's the krana type I have the most of. It was the most advertised among them, but I'm more a fan of Krana Bo.

He was my first Bohrok set! I got him seven or eight years later than the release date; at time BIONICLE was to end, the Stars were at retail, but I picked second hand sets instead. Are you gonna change the krana types as well? 🤔

"My armor's black. That doesn't mean my heart is as well." Personality wise, ONUA is my favourite Toa. All others are like children. Maybe except Gali, who acts like a big sister. And despite Kopaka is cool, rational... He's irritable, so he's the smart kid. The other three are beyond words 😅

Exactly, 2001-2008 was a year long. 2006 was a couple of days, I think (or a month, or few weeks since the Piraka arrive on Voya Nui). 2007 was less than 24h, 2008 probably not much more than that... I bet the Bara Magna saga run for a month at best. The difference is too long to be taken seriously.

It's been years since I've read the books but that was my favourite from the Legends series, because of the Zaktan finds out about the Plan part. I always wonder why these leaps, maybe they needed the gaps to use for later stories. But these aren't centuries, they're ten thousand years 😩
