Yes, but the difference is someone who had a lot of stuff to look through and (charitably) missed something or made a mistake, vs someone who made a conscious decision to generate slop

I don't disagree that this is gross and disappointing but I want to make sure the finger is being pointed in the right direction before casting any specific ire

Do we know that this was designed by someone directly attached to prge, or if it was the sponsor that put it together and got it approved by a likely-overworked volunteer who had too many things to go through and didn't have the time to look too closely?

This was me yesterday. I slept for ten hours straight.

this really is just the logical endpoint of the like decade plus of bad faith localization discourse where people would just pretend you can take idioms and wordplay from other languages and swap it to english wholesale

I still have my childhood copy, but I don't have the original box or manual anymore. So this is nice :)

A Boy and his Blob is not new, but the David Crane and @garrykitchen.bsky.social signatures are :) David signed Pitfall and Pitfall 2 2600 carts too for my wife (not pictured). It was an absolute pleasure to meet them!

Carmen Sandiego was only $5, but as-is/not working. Gonna to try to repair! And I traded a few items to offset the cost of Princess Tomato. Noturno is an indie Castlevania only released in Brazil! Been looking for the Desert Commander manual for a while as a handy reference for the game's units!

Wonder how well their Premiere rewrite works on Linux. Be nice to have something other than kdenlive. (I could not for the life of me get Resolve to work on Fedora...)

I left around 4, and even after sitting and driving for like three hours my legs are still sore

Yep, just for today though

If I hadn't just played this through a few months back... Damn though, what a game

Hi, Portland

You should check out the idw comics :) The rookie shows up in them as the head of the Chicago branch, still with "ROOKIE" on his jumpsuit so he can tell irate customers to take complaints up with his boss

Ooooh, Theresia. That's one I need to go back to.
